Hawaiian Tropic's Sounds of Summer
Summer should be carefree -- but this year feels anything but that! Rather than play into the pressures of what’s coming or what’s next, we wanted to help Hawaiian Tropic’s consumer escape to Hawaii. So we inspired her with the sounds of the islands, creating three separate IGTV soundscape videos, each piece focused on a specific attribute of the islands - land, water, and sun. Each channel offered the sensorial sounds of the ocean and tropical wildlife, helping her get back that missing natural, carefree summer….and bring it with her into the fall.
Virtual Senior Night for Playtex Sport
In the Spring of 2020, COVID-19 enforced stay-at-home orders, suspending schools indefinitely. Resulting in cancellations of in-person student events and celebrations for the class of 2020. And while many brands and celebrities jumped at the opportunity to celebrate proms and graduations virtually, Playtex Sport, as the #1 athletic tampon brand, focused on protecting and celebrating who has always been our top priority - athletes. So we set out to host the first-ever Virtual Senior Night to celebrate female teams and athletes from all over the country. And to host the live event, we picked a natural cheerleader who was also missing her Senior season - Netflix Cheer’s Gabi Butler.

But for moms at home during lockdown, me-time becomes sacred, wherever you can find it. And for many who are surrounded by their kids and work all day, the shower can become a sacred place.

Deutsche Bank came to me with the task of creating unique gifs for their recent project, #MyDataAndI. The interactive website is a feature about the value of data and the possibilities for individuals to profit from data protection. Users of the “Scrollytelling” site are invited to chat to avatars Amy, Julian and Marcus about the value of data in the Big Data era. The three fictitious characters reflect the views of our diverse clientele and ask important, critical questions – and our experts provide the answers (via gifs made by MOI!). As the chat continues, I created “reaction gifs” to be used by the characters to keep the conversation fun.

As the huge sports fans we are, Liza and I were tasked with creating a McPick 2 campaign around the NFL playoffs/some important baseball season. In an LOL moment, the McPick social work outperformed a bunch of social benchmarks and an overall awareness benchmark!! FUN!

MCA "The Freedom Principle" Poster Design
Poster design entered for the Museum of Contemporary Art's The Freedom Principle: Experiments in Art and Music, 1965 to Now exhibition, which highlighted the 1960s African American avant-garde to current art and culture. The poster highlighted the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, an organization of Chicago musicians whose explorations expanded the boundaries of jazz.
